EJH Collectables - Rare books, Art, Vinyl, Watches and Industrial Ephemera

EJH Collectables deals in rare books, framed art and works on paper, vinyl LPs and 12” singles, pocket and wrist watches, and industrial ephemera of technical or cultural significance.

We use the term Industrial in its broadest sense, covering material that reflects the industrious pursuit of scientific, technical, commercial and artistic progress. This includes books, manuals, catalogues and other publications documenting the development of industries, professions and technologies, including the music and movie industries since the Industrial Revolution.

We are constantly on the lookout for new stock, aiming to expand the breadth of our offerings: first editions and fine press books; works on paper and framed art; early and contemporary vinyl; 19th‑century Swiss watches; modern quartz statement pieces; and objects with technical or cultural significance. We aim to list each item with clear, accurate and conservative condition notes, supported by detailed photographs.

Books

From signed, limited and first editions to vintage and antiquarian books, large-format art books and more. We believe a book with a chipped but beautiful jacket is still something to treasure. From Carroll to Capote, we love fascinating books.

Works on Paper

This includes unframed art, folios, sketches, studies, lithographs and more. It covers limited-edition modern sets, early 20th-century collections, and sketches by known or unknown artists. Art intended to be handled, examined and read, rather than framed.

Framed Art

Our stock of framed art includes oils, watercolours, mixed media pieces and occasionally prints from both historically listed and emerging artists. From the late 19th century through to the present day, we choose works for their execution and aesthetic appeal.

Industrial

Books, catalogues, manuals and ephemera documenting innovation across engineering, manufacturing, optics, mechanics and computing. From hypothesis and experimentation to precision movements and the material history of how engineering underpins modern life.

Vinyl

Our vinyl ranges from rare classical recordings to late 20th-century 12" singles, with some of the great names of the 20th and 21st centuries. There is no single genre. We seek out rare and early pressings from both mainstream and obscure artists.

Watches

We love watches, from 19th-century sterling silver pocket watches and mid-century ladies' 9ct cocktail watches to rare Swiss movements and modern quartz designs. We stock both traditional mechanical timepieces and quartz watches, chosen for quality and design.
